简介：2010年年末在Hasbro与Discovery的合作频道The Hub上播出的三维立体动画，第一季为26集，讲述两派来到地球三年后发生的故事。在设定上，本作也是作为2010～2012年的游戏系列「变形金刚 War for Cybertron」和「变形金刚 Fall of Cybertron」的后续故事。作品是由Hasbro Studios负责企划，Digitalscape与Polygon Pictures两家日本动画工作室经手CG作业。
